Camp Davos

Human-Level Artificial Intelligence Challenge

Lab42 organizes a unique challenge in collaboration with the newly established ETH Studio Davos. The Challenge is open to all ETH students interested in researching human-level artificial intelligence (HLAI) for humankind. At Lab42, registered students will gain a comprehensive insight into the research and application of HLAI.

Camp Davos

The Camp Davos will take place during the last week of the semester break in Fall 2022, from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16, 2022. In addition to a recreational program and social activities, the main activities planned are as follows:

AI Research Seminars

Keynote presentations and collaborative discussions on HLAI including latest pogress in technology, research, ethics, commercialization and applications.

ARCathon and ARCreate

Participating students are encouraged to develop solutions for solving ARC and create their own intelligence test items for the ARC 2 Challenge.

HLAI Challenge

Students are guided to create their own task whose solution will support the development of human-level artificial intelligence. Depending on the respective background, students may create a task that requires a novel software or robotic approach to assist researchers in avalanche or bone fracture research. Promising results can be further developed in collaboration with ETH and Lab42, for example in the form of bachelor or master theses supported by Lab42.
